We went to the mall one day and Claire saw the Easter Bunny and told us she wanted to go see him and take a picture. I wasn't to sure about that, I wasn't in the mood to wait in line and then have her freak out when it came time to sit by the bunny. So we told her we'd come back another time. Going home from work I saw a sign at The District saying the Easter Bunny would be there on Saturday, so I told Claire and she said she wanted to go. We left a little early to get there 1. to try and beat the crowds and 2. Jason was able to go with us before he had to be at work.
Luckily we did get there early because the line had already started forming , we only waited about 20 minutes and it was Claire's turn to sit by the EB
She got to sit there for a good 5 minutes before the people were ready to take her picture- I was so afraid she would jump up and say nope I'm done! But she surprised us both and sat there posing and petting the soft bunny. Success!!!
After buying the expensive picture she got a free token to ride the carousel, she chose the panda this time.
She wanted me to take a picture of her silly face.
We had such a fun day and we were so glad daddy could be there with us
