We took a few days and went down to California and of course we went to Disneyland!
Grandma Patti brought Claire a blue piggy bank from her work so she somehow managed to weasel money out of her Great Grandma Virge and Great Great Auntie Lee... her bank was pretty full.
We stayed at a hotel nearby Disneyland, I loved the walk to the park nice shady trees and palm trees were lining the way.
My favorite line from Claire that day as I was pushing her in the stroller as we were walking down Main St. (we had already been in the park for about 10-15 min) But as soon as she saw the castle I could hear her scream, "YESSSSSS, WE'RE AT DISNEYLAND!!!" I'm so glad she has a love for Disney like I do.
If anyone reads Disneygeek, you'll understand why I took this picture. Looks like they need to replace a light bulb!

This is how Claire started to watch the firework show; she jumped right into her stroller and shut the cover. She was not a fan of fireworks, but after a few minutes I convinced her to come out and she then LOVED the show.
