Back to School dinner

So I had this great idea of doing a back to school dinner for Abby and Brenna (mainly to get them excited about school again) I had been buying little school supplies for them all summer, then school time quickly snuck up on me, so I put this together 2 nights before school started.
I started it off with the night before putting invitations on the wall so when they woke up in the morning they saw them (didn't get a picture of that, dang it) Anyways it said, "You're invited to a Back to school dinner at 6:00 pm in the dining room. Don't forget to bring your backpacks!"
We ended up doing the scavenger hunt first so the girls got their new backpacks on and I handed them their first clue. The clues didn't rhyme- I didn't have enough time to be that clever. But they did have to do something at each spot. Like say the pledge of allegiance, sing the ABC's (forwards and backwards), solve a simple math problem, name their school friends, and what they like best about school. So after they did what the clue said they were able to find a new school item.
One of the last clues they had to hop in the wagon and we took them to their next location...
We went down the street to Aunt Ruth Ann's house where she had the last "gift" for them. Brenna's reaction was priceless (picture 4) The last clue said, "when you get home from your first day at school you can watch... {they opened the present} the new Hannah Montana Movie! We then came back to the house where they got to see what was on the menu for dinner that night
I set the table and put white paper as the table cloth and wrote Welcome Back to School!
Oh and check out this "pencil" I found it on the back of a magazine I got in the mail. So this was part of the meal also. (if you want directions on how to make it let me know)
Abby and Brenna love my dads meat loaf so I turned it into a math book! I wrote the numbers out in BBQ sauce, it would have been a lot neater but the BBQ sauce was to warm so it ran down.
2 happy girls ready to start school, Claire is happy to but she's not going to school yet!
