Fun Father's Day weekend

We had a great Father's Day weekend, it started off with me picking up Jason's mom and aunt at the airport on Saturday. Then Saturday night we headed down to Springville for a BBQ and of course that's when the sky decided to open up and pour on us. So we got out the umbrellas and made our BBQ pizzas in the rain. Jason loves when his mom comes up because that means she'll cook salmon and shrimp... he only gets that if we go out to eat. He was in heaven! Then Sunday morning I made breakfast for everyone and then Jay got to open his gifts. (you can see more about his gifts here) Family picture on Father's Day
Jason's mom wanted to take him out to one of his favorite restaurants for dinner, it was delicious as always
Claire got a new ball from Grandma Patti that she has been eyeing at the store for months... and of course about a week later it popped! But she still loves to play with it
The next day we decided to go somewhere no of us have ever been, the Kennecott Copper Mines. I'm really glad we finally got to go and see it up close and not just from the freeway.

We then headed over to Gardners Village where Claire got to ride a pony and actually enjoyed it this time, then we had a great lunch and walked around a few of the shops.
It was Hawaiian days, so here's a funny picture of Jason and his mom

We had such a fun visit with them
