We met up with Candace and kids at the Dinosaur museum, so mom was able to get a picture with all her grand kids. (I think it's a cute one because all the kids are matching and it wasn't even planned)
Mom and newest grand daughter, Sariah. Such a doll!! (Dan and Candace adopted her the end of February)

Yard Sale time
Well the night before the yard sale we went to the movies to see Hannah Montana with the family and the Schauers kids. Although for some reason my Jason and little Jason didn't want to see that so they went and saw
X-Men which was playing at the same time. Claire did ok during most of the movie we just had to give her lots of treats, she loved dancing to the songs.

(Claire did nap later on that afternoon for 3 hours- I had to go in and wake her up so we could go home)

4th of July
We had a great 4th of July weekend, it started off by going to the balloon festival on Friday down in Provo. We have never been so I convinced my mom and sister to come down too. We got there just in time to see some of the balloons launch. It was so much fun to see how they work and the girls had a great time dancing to the music. We then went to Jamba juice and got breakfast since it was barely 8:00am and I then took the girls back home with me for a while to play at our house.

...they were fast asleep by the time we were just getting off the freeway
Saturday the 4th we went over to my cousin Jodi's house for their last 4th of July party in Provo (they are moving to Las Vegas next month). We always have a great time there and lots of yummy food.
They were having a costume contest so we decided we could dress up the girls instead of ourselves. So we made tutu's and matching shirt and flip flops (the flip flops can be seen in a later photo) They looked so cute!
Our patriotic family
Seth held very still so his grandma could trace him in chalk.
Then Claire tried tracing my foot,I think she needs a little help with that one.

Mike did his last Diet Coke and Mentos explosions- it's amazing how much thrill can come from that
The Y on the mountain looked like a flag... very cool!
Claire thinking she is big enough to pull these girls.
Random shots of the family
Daddy and Claire riding some scooters
It was getting closer to firework time but we noticed some really dark clouds heading our way so we all grabbed the tent and brought it over to the lawn where our chairs were, we were prepared for the worst and of course all we got were a few sprinkles. The kids said they were watching "Twilight" and that I was in their way while taking the picture! (silly things they come up with)

We had a great time at the Leishman's as they have the best 4th of July party around! Mike's firework display was great! And Claire finally warmed up to them after a few minutes. She wanted to see fireworks all the way home.
Fun Father's Day weekend
We had a great Father's Day weekend, it started off with me picking up Jason's mom and aunt at the airport on Saturday. Then Saturday night we headed down to Springville for a BBQ and of course that's when the sky decided to open up and pour on us. So we got out the umbrellas and made our BBQ pizzas in the rain. Jason loves when his mom comes up because that means she'll cook salmon and shrimp... he only gets that if we go out to eat. He was in heaven!
Then Sunday morning I made breakfast for everyone and then Jay got to open his gifts. (you can see more about his gifts here)

We had such a fun visit with them
