is this bad?

Do you think my 2 year old daughter has watched too much TV when she can spot this (stupid) Geico billboard anywhere??

Tulips

We had a great time at the Tulip Festival this past weekend, enjoy a fraction of the pictures I took!

Walk around the Temple

Last Sunday I think Claire forgot how we act in church and decided she wanted to sing her ABC's and the clean up song so everyone in the chapel could hear her. I took her out twice and nothing would work so I decided we needed to leave, I hate having 1:00 church with a toddler who naps at that time. So we decided we would drive up to the Timpanogus temple and walk around for a bit. It was such a nice day out and Claire enjoyed being able to run for a bit and loved trying to get away from her daddy

Bridalveil Falls picnic

Last weekend we went up the canyon with Debra and the girls, we enjoyed our yummy picnic dinner (Bajio's) then walked up to the falls. It was a nice day and the girls were able to get all their energy out.

(she's not picking her nose! It's just a cute shot that Debra took)

Playing

I was watching Debra's girls today so she could get some work done in quiet. I thought I'd be the best aunt and take them to the Aquarium. Yeah not a good idea, I think everyone else in SLC county had the same idea. There was not a single place to park and people were lined up outside just to get in the building. So we all decided it wasn't a good day to go in. Since it was almost lunch time I decided just to find a place to eat with a big play area. We tried Chick-Fil-A first but they were already crowded and the play area was tiny. We then found Burger King and their gigantic play area. So here I sat for 1 1/2 hours while the girls played. (I can still be their best aunt, right?)
Claire found this little slide and didn't want to do anything else, even though there was this huge slide at least 2 stories high! She had a great time, every time she would come down she'd clap and say, "Do it again? Yeah, OK!" Abby and Brenna up high on the slide
We had a fun day, they came back over to our place and played on Claire's slide for the rest of the day! Debra came to get them and told them they are going to need to get patches put on their jeans from sliding so much.
I was sitting next to the door at Burger King and I found this quite amusing and perfect for a friend of mine (you know who you are!)

Winter?

It started snowing on the 15th, so I took a quick picture of Claire and the LAST snow of the season, little did we know that we'd wake up to this a few hours later... 10+ inches of snow! I was out at 6 am helping Jason scrape the snow off his car and decided to bring my camera along too. I was just noticing the day before how pretty all the trees were that were just starting to blossom, I hope those branches survived the weight of all that snow.

Easter Festivities!

Our Easter celebrations started on Saturday when Debra invited us down to go to their neighborhood egg hunt. It was a rainy day but stopped in time for the hunt to begin. Here's the girls as we walked down the street.
This hunt was fun because they had a separate area for the 3 and under kids. Claire had a great time collecting all the candy and eggs that were all over the grass.
Here's Claire with her basket of treats
Mommy and Claire- guess she doesn't like me in the picture
They had this ginormous swing, that she had so much fun on
While we walked back home Claire had to have the umbrella even though it was not raining
Sunday morning we were up bright and early, so here's Claire in her Easter dress from Grandma Diane. We then went over to our friends ward (Randy and Jennie) they were blessing their daughter, Addie that morning.
While we were gone the Easter bunny came to our house!
She was so excited to get this bracelet, she also got some books, Abby Cadaby socks and the Tinker Bell movie.
We then had some breakfast then she went and found all the eggs the Easter Bunny hid. Claire did not like that fact of holding her basket, so instead she left her basket in the middle of the room and would run back to it each time.
Just eating some jelly beans! I didn't know that she liked them so I had to quickly email the Easter Bunny to let him know to put some of those in her eggs.
Luckily I was able to get Claire down for a nap since she was up so early. We then went to our ward then headed down to Springville for some dinner! It was so yummy- ham, asparagus, salad, potatoes, and rolls.
The 3 girls with their Easter dresses on.
the easter bunny even found Claire at Grandma's house
