My lovely 17 ½ month daughter has found how loud her lungs can be and believe me it is not pleasant, especially now that I can hear out of both ears it is literally ear piercing.
Today Claire did one of her screams for no reason so I put her in the porta crib (I had it up because some friends borrowed it over the weekend and Claire was very interested when it was here in the living room) I left her in there for a few minutes and tried explaining to her that we don't need to scream. When I got her out, I got her to say I'm sorry (more like, I'm rory) and she gave me a hug. She then went over with a smile on her face sat on her little Dora couch to watch a cartoon turned and looked at me and let out this little tiny scream then laughed at me!
It was like she was saying HAHA mom I can still scream! It wasn't loud so all I could do was laugh.

That's how it always is, right? Haha.
I'm sorry that my child was one of the 40 that cried. :( We'll work on it for next time.
I feel for you ... my 15 month old has figured out the same thing!
