Claire's birthday

OKay I am finally getting around to posting the pictures from Claire's birthday (04/08/08) Here's Claire in our new/used rocker that we just love! My family came over for a very quick birthday party that night for Claire- we got some pizzas from Papa Murphy's for dinner. Here's Claire's favorite crazy cousins- Abby and Brenna.
Present time!

She is so excited to open them!

Aunt Debbie got Claire this book,
so I had to show Claire how to use it.

Birthday cake time, we didn't know how Claire would react to this whole cake to herself, she was very hesistant at first, then went for it a little bit then realized she did not like all that frosting betweeen her fingers

She liked the cake decorations better... less messy!
She then got to have her bath to get all that sticky frosting off, we used the foam bath stickers that Abby and Brenna got Claire for a present. (Can you see that I had fun playting with them too- they are really cool)

She then got jammies on so she's ready for bed, but first had to play with her Build-A-Bear (new outfit from Grandma Diane)

I was trying to get a good picture with her sitting by the bear but that didn't happen...
she just decided to lay on it instead.

Claire loves to play with daddys phone- we should have got her that for a present and she would have been fine
And finally Claire and daddy just before she was ready to go off to sleep (think she looks tired?)

Her cake reaction was my favorite! She's such a girl and I think it's great! Thanks for letting us be a part of it all.... we love that little girl way too much!

I love the bathtime documentation. She can certainly get the splashings going - and oh so happy. Glad she survived all the festivities..
Hugs from Grandma D
