Shoes

I bought Claire a new pair of black Mary Janes to wear with her Christmas dress- BUT she wanted nothing to do with them! And I mean nothing, she screamed and when I went to put her on the ground it was like she was frozen and would not move. (so those are going back to the store) So while I was at WalMart I found a pair of soft comfy pink shoes for Claire to try and get used to, well I put those on her and she screamed even louder and was shaking!! Great my daughter is going to be barefoot the rest of her life!!!
Anyways I brought the shoes to my moms yesterday, we put them on her and tried to distract her with a bottle (it worked, and she fell asleep for 1 hour with her shoes on!)
Well when she woke up she was fine because the blanket was covering her shoes, but as soon as we removed that blanket and she saw that they were still on her feet- she was not a happy camper!

(The blanket was just removed and she hasn't seen them yet....)

(Uh oh now she saw them...)

("I'm not so sure I like these things on my feet"...)

("NOPE, I hate these things on my feet!")

("Really get these off!!!!)
Lesson to all those new mothers out there: Put shoes on your child as soon as you can!

Why do those pictures make me laugh?! Jason was so mad at us, but unfortunatley she's gonna have to go through what Abby went through... and it's drama!

And just for the record- I was not the one who told you to not put shoes on your kids!

That is too funny yet sad. That girl is darling. I loved the step by step pics. Too adorable!

Oh, poor claire. The shoes are so cute - it's too bad she didn't like them.

Cute winter blog look.

I think that the no shoes look runs on Jasons side of the family..poor Clair..if she's anything like her cousin Christopher..woweee !!!..He is 22yrs old right now and will still NOT cover his feet at night..oops..neither will his mother..no matter how cold..how hot, our feet will remain uncovered at bedtime. We love you Claire..feetsies and all
