Claire is really good at rolling to where she wants to go. It is so fun to watch her roll, scoot, sit up, fall back, scoot, roll over, sit up and finally she makes it to where she wants to be. Earlier this week she found that the doors on the entertainment center make a fun noise when they are opened and then shut. I have been thinking about taking them off (1 is broken anyways) so maybe I will now. And today we set her down in the living room and in a matter of seconds she was in the kitchen resting her head against the fridge! She'll be crawling soon... stay tuned!

Thanksgiving
We had a great Thanksgiving, Jason had to work in the morning for a few hours. Claire started off her morning by watching the Macys Thanksgiving Parade while eating her breakfast-she loved it, and was clapping and laughing during all the performances. We then went to my Aunt RuthAnn's house for dinner- it was all sooo yummy! Claire enjoyed her sweet potatoes and corn then knocked out as soon as she was done eating. We then looked through all the ads for Black Friday, had lots of desserts to choose from, then headed home- well not to our home. We stayed the night at Grandma Diane's because I was going to hit some stores in the morning with my mom & Debra, and Sandie stayed back and watched Claire. We are so THANKFUL that Claire is in our family for this Thanksgiving.

Time to lower the crib
The other morning Claire woke up like this in her crib- sitting up and with her leg through the bars, my first sign we needed to lower her crib.
Then the next day Jason was playing with her in her crib when all of a sudden she pulled herself up to a standing position!! (and thought she was so funny) Needless to say her crib is now lowered so we wont find Claire on the floor. She is growing up too fast!Wednesday, November 14, 2007
Celine Dion
So some of you might know that I love Celine Dion's music! When I heard about her show in Las Vegas 6 years ago, I was dying to go...and I thought it was a sign that I had to go because her opening show just happen to fall on my birthday! My loving husband suprised me with tickets on my birthday to see her show in June of that year. Now I haven't been to many concerts but this has to be the best show, I don't know how that lady does it- it was amazing, and I loved every minute of it! I even got to go see her again the next year with my mother in law- kinda fun because she had changed some things from the first time I saw her.
So this morning Claire woke up at 6:50 am, and I was sitting on the couch with her I turned on the Today show and saw that Celine was there to promote her new album that "dropped" yesterday. So I sat there and waited, and waited and waited until 8:45 am when she sang her first song. Claire was kinda cranky by then but when she started singing- she just sat there through the whole song and did not make a sound. I'm guessing she knew her voice probably because I had it blaring in the car alot when I was preggo with her. Maybe this will start a new obsession with Claire too (a mother can only hope, right?)I hadn't heard her new song until this morning (I don't listen to the radio much right now-trying to finish Harry Potter on CD's) I kinda like it. I might have to add that tomy Christmas list

BYU game
Jason was given tickets to Thursday nights BYU game against TCU (Texas Christian University- I had to look it up)
7 Months
She is officially 7 months old! (had to document the day) I bought her her first pair of jeans, and she looks all big and growed up. She is starting to clap, and so wanting to crawl but doesn't know quite how to manage that one. A couple times we have seen her pull her self up into a sitting position, and we get so excited. Abby and Brenna can't believe all the stuff Claire can do now! (everytime they see her they list all of the thihngs Claire has learned to do, it's cute)

Abby is 6!
Today is Miss Abby Jane's birthday! I can't believe that girl is 6 years old. I found some pictures on the computer of when we would take Abby to Disneyland with us (she was free then, so she came quite a few times with us)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABBY!

Idaho Falls
So earlier this week Jason told me he had Saturday off (which is very rare) So my mind starting thinking that maybe we should go somewhere. So we took off for Idaho Falls- Jason has never been there and I hadn't been there since my grandpa died over 6 years ago. We found a nice hotel that was 37 steps away from the falls. We meet my cousin Jeremy when we got there and he walked around the river with us for a while and was a great tour guide. It was a bit chilly so we didn't stay out too long. Later that night we met back up for dinner at Ruby River, & my Uncle Steve joined us also. The next morning we went by my grandpa's old house, where we would come during our summer vacations when I was younger. We also got a neat picture of a very cool roundabout (now if they had these in Utah I'm sure there would be many accidents- lots of looky loos) We finished our trip with a yummy breakfast at Smitty's pancake house. It was a quick trip but nice to see a different part of the country.

Claire's inner clock did not change with the time change so she was up alot during the night... she ended up sleeping for 2 straight hours on the way home!
