The girls and I were on the road to Utah Friday morning, our family was gathering together at my aunt's hospital so my uncle could give us all updates and so we could all be together for a little Fourth of July celebration. I was a little hesitant about going because I was just in Utah, but after talking to Jason he told me to just go. I am so glad I did because as we were on our way to the gathering my aunt passed away. I loved that lady sooo much, it is still so unreal that she is gone. I decided rather than go home and come back up for the funeral later that week I was just staying in Utah and my brother in law, Matthew volunteered to pick up Jason in time for the viewing. (Jason's friend drove him to St. George and Matthew picked him up there) THANK YOU MATTHEW AND THOMAS!
It was a very sad but a great week at the same time. My sister and I were able to put together a quick video about my aunt's life, I learned some things I never knew, got to talk to old friends of hers and heard such fun stories about my awesome aunt
The viewing- July 8, 2010
These are my aunts two
BFF's and partners in crime- Sandy and Lily! We love these ladies like they are in our family.

It was a great turn out, my aunt had touched so many lives as she was a teacher for 30 years! Her friends from school gathered lots of Cheryl's favorite things and used it in the viewing room

Funeral- July 9, 2010
A great tribute to my aunt, my two cousins spoke and some great songs were sung. I will have to scan in the program too. She we be
buried in Star Valley. So the funeral home from WY was there to bring Cheryl on up to Star Valley.

My mom with all her
grand kids.
Sariah is just a cutie!

We enjoyed a great little luncheon put on by the Relief Society before we got on the road to Star Valley. We realized this was the first time that all the Crook Great
Grand kids were together (this was the best picture I found on my camera)

The Crook
Grand kids minus Dan and Mike

My Uncle George and his family

Coming in to Star Valley has this great look out area so we had to stop, and as always it didn't disappoint.

Matthew rocking out!

Our favorite cabins were booked up so w e stayed at a new place where we most likely will never stay again, it was an adventure! But we did have a GREAT night being together as a family! We all walked over to the park had a little firework show and just chatted and let the kids play until almost midnight.

Burial- July 10, 2010
Shaylee and Claire, I'm glad they are good friends like Chrissy and I were!

The rest of the pictures can speak for themselves... loved this lady so much, sad to see her go but so glad she is free from her earthly pain. And maybe a little jealous that she gets to be with my dad... okay so a lot jealous!
