Miscellaneous March Madness!

I got to see my friend Willett, wait I can't call her that anymore she's married now- Kelly Tanner. She and her husband came to Vegas for the basketball tournaments and we were able to meet up at the Rio

We had extra dough at the bakery so I made Mickey! Oh and he tasted so good too!

And did you notice there was no March Madness basketball updates this year, yeah it wasn't a good year for Jay and I think he was out the 2nd or 3rd round. Claire did watch some games with her dad and liked yelling at the TV.

The last year of my twenties!

Another birthday has come and gone, and I sure had a great day with my family. We had to leave our house all day because we were having our carpets cleaned at our apartment. So we started off the day at Green Valley Ranch for breakfast.
Then went and ran some errands including a much needed car wash since we have these lovely trees in our area that give off this lovely green gunk all over our car. Claire is still not a fan of going to the car wash, so she usually will sit in the front with me. (I think she is over her fear now but just likes to pretend she doesn't like car washed)

We then headed out to Lake Las Vegas where we were going to stay the night.

We went down the the heated pool- there was a strong breeze blowing that day so it was perfect to be in a warm pool. I told Claire she was like Ariel in the water, and she said no all I need is a tail first... I'll ask for that for my birthday!

We came back to the room got changed and went and grabbed Panda Express for dinner and brought it back to the hotel. Later on we watched New Moon while snacking on popcorn and some ice cream cake. Claire is obsessed with finding Edward everywhere now.

Tanner's game

Claire and I went to my cousin's son semi-finals basketball game. And of course they won and we had a great time. Claire thought it was pretty loud, but she loved cheering for Tanner

They won the championship game and are the Las Vegas city CHAMPIONS!

Day 3... Quick beach time

Claire's wasn't a fan of the sand on her feet, took her about 15 minutes to get used to it. Then of course she was the last one to get off of the sand!

LOVED every minute of this trip- so fun to be there with family and friends!

Day 2... California Adventures

These boys were def, while Adrienne was looking through her pictures they would come over and watch and get all excited when they saw Mickey on her camera- too cute!
