Salt Lake visit

Last week we all went up to Salt Lake City, we got on Trax and got off by the museum, the kids had a great time exploring the children's area. We even heard lots of 'talks' from Abby and Brenna from the pulpit
My cousin, Megan, and the gorgeous flowers that are around temple square
Mom Debra and Claire waiting for Trax to come pick us up
We then went to Little America to get some dessert and I think Claire had had enough by then and was showing her little devil side to all the nice people in the restaurant, so I took her outside where she sat until everyone else was finished. This picture shows the lovely mood she was in

More quick California pics

Our Disneyland pass worked so we decided to go into the park for a few hours. I usually stop by to see how our brick is looking, but this time decided to get a picture with Claire in it and of course she doesn't want to look at me. (our brick is just to the right of the bottom of her pant leg) We let her play back in Toon Town for a long time, we hadn't gone back there at all the last time we were at Disney.

My FAVORITE picture of her- this shows her genuine 'I am happy smile', not the smiles she gives me just to amuse me so I'll stop taking her picture.

We were able to see Jason's family for one day before heading back to Utah and it worked out great because we got to celebrate Aunt Kat's birthday with her, can you tell which team she likes?
Then we stayed the night in Vegas before making the long trek home and got to see Jason's dad and his girlfriend. (Claire took this picture) They were able to watch the last quarter of the Laker game together then we went down to TGIFridays to grab something to eat.

Uncle Don

My Uncle Don passed away about 2 weeks so we went down for his memorial service to California. Before the service we took a 4 generation picture and we are all color coordinated (not planned at all)

Moore FamilyAll the family who were able to attend. This is becoming a famous tree in background for our family
Grandma Moore and her 6 daughters

A Long day

I don't quite remember what we did this day but I do remember we were gone for quite a long time getting errands done. When we got home I came to check something on the computer and Claire had gotten her blanket and fell asleep on the floor behind me. Then later that evening, I was pretty tired and kept dozing off on the couch and I woke up to find that Claire had lined up all the books and magazines on the floor. She was calling it her tunnel.

Water day at Grandma's

We went down to Grandma's to try out the new swimming pool she bought, and Claire had a great time getting wet. She was calling it a tub tub for a while, meaning bath tub. Abby and Brenna were laying out for a while, I don't know why since they are already so tan and summer is barely beginning.
Later that afternoon while watering the grass, Claire got a little wet by the hose but was loving life!

Mother's Day

I was a bad picture taker on Mother's Day but I did have a wonderful day. Jason made me some waffles for breakfast, I didn't get a picture of it so here's some of the mess he made.
We then went to church and all the kids in nursery made a handprint in actual paint, AHHH! I was in charge of the washing of hands, we did each kid twice, so I washed about 40 hands that day. It was ok because I loved that they did that, now I have a cute keepsake from Claire. We then went down to moms house and had a great BBQ, you can tell from this child's dirty mouthClaire loves playing with the girls bikes and scooters, she usually puts the helmet on too. So here she is sporting the knee pads. Then we all went inside for some present time. Jason got me a beautiful watch that I love!

Claire had her first big owie that ended happily... short story, somehow Claire's elbow got dislocated but it took us a while to figure it out, my mom called a neighbor friend who is a nurse, who then called her son who has fixed a few of these. (The Instacare had just closed since it was now 8:06 pm) We drove down to the sons house to see if he could fix it and save us a few hours and a lot of money at the ER. And he did!! Claire was better instantly and Dr. Joel (he's not really a doctor but we call him that now) gave her a treat and she got to play with their dog this little girl was in heaven!

Memorial weekend fun

We made it to Star Valley just before noon on Saturday. We checked into our cabin and then were off to the Etna Cemetery.
The pretty flowers that my made made for dads grave and Gma and Gpa Crooks grave.
Jason went and played with the kids for a bit.
This was one day where it wasn't raining or snowing so we enjoyed being able to sit and share stories about our loved ones.
Aunt Cheryl was explaining why we come to Star Valley every Memorial WeekendClaire and her daddy listening (gotta love 2 year old molars her fingers are in her mouth constantly) My cousin Josh and his new fiance, Tammy

The whole group!
Back at the cabin the kids all sitting together waiting for dinner
The next day some of us took a drive to Swan Valley, ID- home of the square ice cream cone. Here's a link I found that explains it) And of course we passed by Palisades lake/Dam, and went to the Dam Store... all they sell is beer and ice.
My cousin Jeremy's new way of wearing his hat!Jay and Jeremy showing us their drinks they found, Jason found some kind of mountain dew that he'd been looking for for a long time and Jer has Jackson Hole Root Beer- it was good! You can see the nasty storm we just drove through in the background.
On our way back to the cabins we saw the baby Eagle in it's nest, and my mom spotted this hawk that she wanted me to get a picture of... out of a sunroof and in a car that's going 70 miles per hour! That night half of the group went to go shooting so we all took the kids to the park and they loved it! Brenna taught Claire how to climb all the way up the tallest slide, thanks Brenna.
Claire and I, Debra, Abby, & Brenna, Chrissy, Shaylee & Gabriel
Some random pictures I took around the valley

Claire and Brenna enjoying Jeremy's swing in front of his cabin before we left.
One last stop at the cemetery before going home.

Claire is leaving Papa her rock. My mom brought back rocks from all the different places she visited in Israel and this will explain the reason behind it.
Trying to get a 2 year old to sty still for a picture is kind of impossible especially when she knows what she is doing, so I quickly turned her around so we could catch her smile
We had a balloon send off at the cemetery
We always stop at the Mc Donald's in Evanston, WY, it is very cute and has these nice little saddles to sit on in the kids area.Claire was kind of grossing us out by her eating all the cheese and not the crackers, she just thought it was hilarious!
