Balloons

A few days ago we went to Brick Oven for dinner (since Abby had a free dinner to get). The balloon guy was there and Debra got him to come to our table- we have been there many times before and he never got around to us. So Claire got a cute doggy balloon, then we were joking about if he could make a vaccuum or not. And he did!!!! Claire has this thing with vaccuums right now, sometimes she loves them and sometimes she hates them. So here's the Black and Decker "bagless" vaccuum, with hose attachment
See the dirt inside?
Abby got a Sleeping Beauty balloon and Brenna got Little Mermaid.

Paint!

Since we moved to our new place I knew I wanted to paint, so here is our new lime green bathroom! It's bright and I love it!! It's not fully decorated yet, I want to find something to go above the back wall where the towels are hanging. (when I figure that out I'll post more pictures)

Oh so sad...

Jason got me an awesome Christmas present last year... tickets to see Celine Dion! Only problem was that I had to wait 11 months until she came in concert in SLC. So I waited patiently... the week of the concert is finally here- Jason got the weekend off, my family agreed to watch Claire for the night and I was really getting excited until today when we got an email saying that she post poned the concert until FEBRUARY 22nd 2009! She is fighting off some sort of an infection (from what I have found on the internet) So now I have to wait 98 more days to see her. I am so bummed but it's not her fault that she's sick so I'll have to wait even more patiently now! We'll have to figure out something fun to do this weekend since Jason already has it off.

Baby, Minnie, and Abby

Our friends who moved to Colorado a few weeks ago came down for a little visit, and we were so excited to see them. We went to Cafe Rio then came back to our place and Claire got to hold baby Drake. She was in awe that we were letting her hold this real live baby.
The next day it snowed...alot. So I let Claire sit outside on our porch and watch the "nnooo" (She can't say her S's yet)
The next day we went down to Springville to celebrate Abby's 7th birthday. But first the Disney Store was having this ridiculous sale on costumes, so Sandie found this Minnie Mouse one that we are hoping will still fit Claire for next Halloween. And then Grandma Diane came home with the yellow heels to match (they are so dang cute but fit Claire right now) So we put her in the costume and she was so adorable walking around. She even left the ears and gloves on!

Abby wanted to have Fondue as a part of her birthday celebration. So we had a cheese course, then meatloaf (according to Abby- the best food ever!), then some chocolate fondue for dessert. Good choice Abby it was all delicious!
Grandma Diane and Abby. Notice the authentic 1970's fondue pot. My mom got it as a wedding present and its now back in style!
And here's little miss Claire stuffing her face with rice krispies and bananas
