A Great weekend

Well it started off on Friday night going with Debra to another Peter Breinholt concertdown at UVSC. So much fun- it was a "solo concert", but his opening act was Sam Payne and he sang this awesome song called "Fly Ball" (made me cry)

Saturday afternoon we went to IKEA with all the fam, to do some snooping around then went to dinner at Chuck-A-Rama and met Aunt Cheryl and Uncle George for dinner. (Now I have never been a fan of that place but I do have to say I will be back, those wheat rolls and scones were delicious!)
Then Saturday night we went to the Jazz game (Jason was given free tickets by someone at work) How could you pass up a free game, and our seats were quite good. Jay wasn't too excited about the team they were playing but it was a great game and the Jazz did win.

Claire must have been tired from all the walking she did- because she laid like this on Aunt Sandie for a while

Claire is just trying out a rocking chair- we really need to get one at our house but maybe not this wicker one.

This was supposed to be a picture of the final score
but as you can see we left when there was
7.1 seconds left, I think the final score was 100-94

My family watched Claire Saturday night since we didn't get home till 11:00, then we came to pick her up Sunday morning before we went to church.

Here's Claire after church as she found my glass, it entertained her for a few minutes.

Hats

Claire loves to play peek-a-b00 with anything she can find... one day she found one of my winter hats and would pull it over her head and take it off but each time she got it on the right way- so of course had to capture a cute picture!

Palm Tree

Auntie Ree is always asking me if Claire's hair is long enough to go into a pony tail- AKA "palm tree". So the other day I got her out of the bath and thought I would try it, and it worked! It's funny though, she sat still for me to do her hair, but when it came time to take a picture she wouldn't do it. And it didn't last too long in her hair as she knew there was something on her head and slowly started to pull it out.

Valentines Day

I'm a little late on this post, but here are some pictures from Valentines Day. Claire got to wear her outfit from Auntie Ree, and had fun playing with balloons that daddy brought home.

Later that night we went down to my moms house for dinner and had a heart shaped pizza and pizza fondue (recipe from Jodi). Claire was very interested in Grandma's earrings so she got to try them onI wanted to get a picture of Claire and the snow and since Springville got 10 inches of snow the night before I thought this would be a perfect time. We put Claire on the sled and she put her hand right into the snow and realized she did not like it!! Oh well maybe next year will be better

That night I also made white chocolate covered strawberries that turned out YUMMY!

Peek-A-Boo

Yesterday Claire was playing through out the house, & Jason and I were in the living room... after a little while she got quiet so I thought I should go see what she was up to. I found her in the kitchen with all our kitchen towels on the floor and she was playing peek-a-boo all by herself. I just started laughing and when she knew she was caught she just had a big grin on her face then continued to play!

Baby Names

Usually at 10:00 am you can find me watching Good Things Utah (or Rachel Ray, if I don't like what's on GTU) My favorite part to watch is the last 5 minutes of the show where they show pictures of babies first birthdays because they are so cute and I love to see what there names are! Utah has some of the most creative & crazy names, if you are in need of finding a unique name for your child- watch GTU! Here's some of my favorites...

Super Bowl Sunday

We woke up on Sunday morning to a Winter Wonderland- it had snowed so much. Our snowplowers had been out in our complex for a few hours and they weren't doing much because the snow was coming so fast. That night the news said Pleasant Grove had 9+ inches of snow. For Super Bowl our good friends Randy and Jennie came over to watch the game and we had a nacho bar- very yummy! Jason is a huge sports fan and gets way involved in the games, although the team he wanted to win didn't he is okay with it (now).Herre's a picture of him during the game, he can't even sit still when games are on. March is just around the corner and that means March Madness!!!!!!! This was only the beginning- I will be a basketball widow come March.

While the boys watched the game, Jennie and I made bows for Claire!!! We had so much fun being creative, we ended up making about 35 bows and had lots of wounds from the glue gun. But Claire has lots of cute little bows now. (Thanks for helping Jennie!)

We had to try them out in Claire's hair, she didn't mind ... for a few minutes
This was just a funny picture of her making a fish face
