Like Father, like... Daughter??

Claire wanted to join daddy in playing his video games, or maybe she just wanted to eat the controller. Either way she had fun!

Claire and daddy wrestling... I think Claire is the winner here! Jason never had a chance

(out of the 10 pictures i took, 8 of them had her mouth open- this girl would not stop smiling)

It's Halloween time

I went with my family to their neighbors Halloween party on Saturday night- Debra and I were "Black Eyed Peas", Mom was a "Split Pea", Sandie was "Two Peas and an I-POD" Wendy and Brenna were Pirates and Abby was a cowgirl.

P.S. We woke up to at least 2-3 in. of snow outside on Sunday morning- everything looked so pretty. When we left for church Mt.
Timpanogus looked so beautiful, I meant to grab my camera when we got home but forgot until about 6:00 that night so most of the snow melted but it still looked pretty.

Halloween Party

Pumpkin patch

Jason had last Friday off work so we wanted to go and do something- so we decided on going up to Gardners Village in West Jordan. I knew it would be busy since all the "witches" were out and decorated so we left at 11:00, by the time we had got up there, there was no parking and I didn't feel like driving around and waiting for people to leave so we decided to leave and just visit a local pumpkin patch by our house.

We got to the pumpkin patch and of course no one was at this one in the middle of the day so we had it all to ourselves. Claire wasn't to sure about the hay we sat her on to get her picture and I think the large pumpkins frightened her, but we did manage to get one cute picture of her nice smile. We even left there with 2 large pumpkins that we will hopefully carve this coming week.

Claire can eat!

So since Claire has now turned 6 months old we have started adding some veggies and fruits to her daily eating routine. She gets so stinkin' excited when you bring that spoon close to her mouth- it makes me laugh every time. So far she likes butternut squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, applesauce and bananas. Here's a funny picture of her enjoying this new food.

Jason's job

Well after many applications, interviews, & resumes it finally paid off.... Jason was offered a job at the Orem Macey's as their Frozen Dept. Manager! He will be closer to home and will now be in charge of the schedule (so it wont be wacky anymore) He should be starting on Monday. Good job Jason!!

Logan, UT

Today my mom, Sandie, Claire and I went up to Logan. We were being tourists for the day and just stopped whenever we felt like it. We took pictures all along the way and we stopped at Cox Honeyland (thanks Jodi for telling me about it). It was luckily right off the main road, so we went in and they had a very cute gift store and live honey bees in the back. Then we headed on up through the canyon and stopped at Bear Lake. It was a rainy day down in Pleasant Grove, but we lucked out when we got up to Logan there was lots of blue sky and very litle rain. So It ended up being a very nice and a long day we had. Claire enjoyed some of my shake!

Here's some pics of the fall colors going up Logan canyon

This was just a beautiful house we saw when we pulled off the side of the road to take some pictures- now we wouldn't mind living there! Look at the cute tree house in the back yard.

This Moose we saw on the way back down the canyon- he was just drinking some water from the saide of road. He would get scared everytime a car drove by and start to go up the hill but then would come back down for some more water.

Happy Birthday Jason

Oct 12th was Jason's 27th birthday! He luckily had the day off, which is always nice. So we had a relaxing day of food and shopping. We went to Chadder's for lunch (if you ever need an In-N-Out fix that's the place to go) then on to a few stores where Jason spent some of his birthday money and got some new jeans and a couple of Play Station 2 games. Then that night we took Claire down to my moms house and we went on up to Black Angus with some friends for a yummy dinner. Jason's phone was ringing alot all day from all the birthday wishes.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAY!!

We took Claire to the park so she could swing, and she had a ball! We even went down the slides. Can't wait till she's bigger when she can do it on her own. P.S. Amy let us borrow this fun new toy! Claire loves it- and she tries to eat that little rubber ducky... thanks!!!!

A Very Merry Un-Birthday to Claire!

Claire is officially 6 months old- so to celebrate her un birthday I made her a "half" of a birthday cake... she was so excited she just dove right in before I could even take a picture of the cake. So all she really got was a handful of frosting but never brought it up to her mouth... she'll have her chance in another 6 months to eat
all that sugary frosting.

This morning I was down at the mall with my mom and noticed that Kiddie Kandids had just opened- now I was not planning on going there again until she turned 1... BUT I caved.
Claire had a new outfit from Mervyns and she was awake and happy and there was no one in line yet so we went in. Here's some shots from her 6 month old photo shoot.

WE LOVE YOU CLAIRE!

She can sit...

.... all by herself! Another big milestone in her life. And just a few days shy of her turning 6 months old. This was the first COLD day in Utah for her, so she finally got to wear the little sweat suit that her Aunt Debbie got for her, and she is also enjoying the nice fire at my moms house.

Goofy's Kitchen

So these pictures needed there own blog entry- we went to Goofy's Kitchen for the first time (thanks to the Leishman's for reminding me about it) It was sooo much fun. The food was awesome and it made it so we didn't have to wait in line for characters at the park. Claire got to meet Goofy, Pluto, Minnie Mouse, Alice in Wonderland and Chip & Dale. We enjoyed every minute of it- I think that was the highlight of the trip for me. And we definatley will be going again!!

Dale was trying to be helpful and get Claire to take her paci-- so he "asked" if it was ok to dip it into Jason's orange soda, we agreed. And what do you know she took it! (well who wouldn't with some yummy flavor added to it) It was funny because it took hm a few tries to get his huge paw into that small cup, and afterwards the waitress didn't even offer to get him a new one, so it was our little joke the rest of the night about Jason's fur filled drink.

Not even a giant mouse could get that bottle away from Claire!

California Adventure decorations

When we planned our trip we didn't think that the Halloween decorations would be up but they were, they started the Friday before we got there. So it was a nice bonus to our trip and the crowds were not as horrible as we expected. Here are some pictures of the fun new stuff they added to DCA.
