Well you can tell we just love Peter Breinholt concerts, they are always so much fun! This year he was celebrating his 10th anniversary with Sundance. So Debra and I bought our tickets for the grass seats, and Jason so kindly agreed to watch Claire for the evening (thanks). We decided to meet down at Riverwoods and then carpool together up to Sundance... well when I got to the parking lot I started loading my blankets and sweatshirt into Debra's car I somehow locked the doors of my car and gently shut my front door... and my keys and purse were still inside!!! The door wasn't all the way shut- just enough for the latch to catch and it was LOCKED! Anyways I had to call Jason to come and unlock the doors (luckily our friends that live in the next buliding were home so they could watch Claire, since I had the carseat )
Okay so now we are off to Sundance, we didn't know if we were allowed to bring food in or where to park, so we get there and the guys are guiding us to go park up this hill, so we parked the car then had to wait in line for a tram to come get us and bring us back down to where we just were! We were then just following the crowd of people who were also carrying blankets up a HUGE hill. Now there were 2 huge hills we had to walk up, and let me tell you high altitude and asthma don't work together in my opinion. When we reached the top I had to stop to get a rock out of my shoe, and just then this nice white van pulls up and people jump out! Where the heck was that line? Oh well, it was not a fun walk and I was very grateful when we found seats and were able to sit down and enjoy the beauty of Sundance. We looked at the people around us and they had their pillows and comforters and Cafe Rio, and Hickory Kist sandwhiches. Next concert up here we will remember all these things that we can bring and we will definatley be in line for the lovely van to take us up that hill.

Here's Debbie and I (the groupies) Debra found us a nice spot on the grass that we were able to lean on the rocks behind us. There was this couple sitting next to us who I thought looked very familiar so Debra asked them to take a picture of us and then we started chatting with them and come to find out they were the same people we sat by at the last Peter Breinholt concert in the park, and they are also in Sandie's ward. Small world!!

This was the mass exodus of people leaving, we waited a few minutes to let the crowds clear out then began our trek down the "ski slope" We're just very grateful that we got to walk downhill this time.
During the concert Peter was talking about how he and the piano player (I can't think of his name) just celebrated their 20th reunion from High School... so as a tribute to the class 0f '87 this is what he came up with. (If you have 5 minutes to spare you might enjoy this, and don't mind Debra laughing and screaming next to me she didn't know I was videoing this part)
Here's the link also, the video has been acting funny and only works when it wants to
